At age 7, Faith Seamon began taking
dance lessons at
The Dance Element studio.
She achieved proficiency in multiple dance styles and grew
to become a Senior member of
the Element Productions Dance Performance Company.
A role model among our dancers,
Faith eagerly assisted with teaching numerous groups of younger students.
In 2013, she received our studio's highest honor: the Miss Gracie Memorial Dance Scholarship, awarded annually to the one student who outshines all others with their leadership, dedication, and passion for dance.
In 2017, Faith was one of only four high school seniors selected to receive the New Hanover County Board of Education's Student Scholarship for Future Teachers.
After attending East Carolina University to complete her degree in Special Education (magna cum laude,) she is excited to begin her career at Wrightsboro Elementary School in Wilmington NC.
While at ECU, Faith's love of dance led her to discover
Zumba Fitness Classes.
She quickly developed a passion for the core rhythms of Merengue, Salsa, Cumbia, & Reggaetón that define the
popular cardio-dance style, and went on to achieve her teaching license so she could introduce this fun workout to others.
Faith loves Zumba because
it's all about having fun
and because it's suitable for
everyone, regardless of fitness level or dance experience.
The fourth graduate of our studio's program to return and join our faculty, Faith is thrilled to be back home with her dance family!
She is very grateful for the opportunity to lead Zumba Classes for Teens, Adults, & Seniors
at The Dance Element, and looks forward to
sharing her passion with our happy dancers.
